Feathers of Grace breeds Celestial or Pacific Parrotlets (Forpus coelstis).  These compact birds are also called Pocket Parrots because they love to hide in pockets. They are sexually dimorphic which means you can visually tell males from females.  The males have cobalt blue coloring on their backs and wings.  We breed several color mutations (green, blue, yellow, white, lutino, and pastel).  Parrotlets are small in size (around 5 inches) and are the smallest parrots in the world. Although they are small they don't know it and make up for it with their large personality.  They are not loud and let out little chirps.  So they would be great for apartments. Some Parrotlets can speak words and sometimes a short sentence.  They are very bright and can learn several tricks.  Each of our Parrotlets have different personalities so it is best to tell us what kind qualities you are looking for so we can make the best match. We feed our parrotlets seed mixture, fruits, vegetables, whole wheat bread, pellets and hard boiled eggs.
